EXECUTIVE ORDER 16, Amendment Number 1
By virtue of the authority vested in me by law, I hereby amend Executive Order Number 16, executed March 14, 2016, by adding the following paragraph to clarify the intent regarding the appointments to the Committee by the Alabama Board of Education members:
“BE IT FURTHER ORDERED, that, due to the potential for conflicts of interest, the State Board of Education members shall not appoint themselves to the Committee.”
BE IT ORDERED, that this Executive Order shall become effective retroactive to March 14, 2016, and shall remain in effect until amended or modified by the Governor.
